Severn Trent in partnership with NM Group won two awards at the prestigious Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) 2018 West Midlands annual awards.
Our NMC Nomenca team and Severn Trent achieved the coveted ‘Innovation’ award for the forward-thinking work on the Linnet Rise flood alleviation project in Kidderminster that helped reduce disruption, costs and the time needed to complete the project. They also scooped the ‘Communication’ award for work on the Hagley Newfield Road Flood Alleviation project.
John Homer, NM Group’s Chief Executive said: “We are thrilled to have been involved in these award achievements. As a company, we are keen to showcase the dedication, expertise and sheer hard work of our teams. The scale and complexity of the projects we manage are tremendous, but by working in close partnership with Severn Trent, we have been able to deliver high-calibre performance while maintaining safety and quality.
“Our combined efforts and innovative approach have given us prominence as leaders in our field and has resulted in well-deserved industry accolades.”
Congratulations to everyone involved, with special mention going out to Stephan Read, Andy Williams and Will Hooper, as well as our Severn Trent colleagues Ian Woodward and Seng Cheah.
The ICE awards make up a trio of recent awards for NM Group, with us also being voted the ‘Water Industry Contractor of the Year’ at the Water Industry Achievement Awards 2018.
