    Stock
    Hugh Kelly, our yard supervisor, carrying out his monthly stock report at our Huthwaite Yard. Stock is held for our works with Virgin Media, Cable & Wireless, Geo, Openreach, Kcom, Carillion, Telent and Balfour Beatty.
    Manhole Construction
    NMC Utilities division pictured carrying out manhole construction for Carillion/Telent (CT), on behalf of Openreach. The division has been working for Telent for the past ten years in the East Midlands area and this relationship is contracted to continue for another two years, with £12 million of work to be undertaken.

    South Yorkshire Digital Region (SYDR)
    are undertaking a major telecommunication project on behalf of Kcom, installing 790km of duct and fibre to cabinets resulting in increased broadband speed for the people living in the surrounding area. The duration of the project is two and a half years and is valued at over £30 million.

    Major Road Widening Scheme
    NMC Utilities division have commenced night work on a major project for Balfour Beatty. This project is a major road widening scheme on the A46, which runs between Nottingham and Leicester. The project includes the laying of duct, building jointing chambers for Open Reach (BT) and Virgin Media and laying mains for Severn Trent. The project is due to be completed by early 2012.
