Public Realm & Urban Regeneration

	Lands Lane and Central Square Refurbishment, Leeds This high quality paving scheme was situated in a busy public realm environment, in the main shopping district of the city. Due to the high frequency of pedestrians surrounding the construction site, health and safety was of utmost importanve whilst carrying out all aspects of the work.
	West Bromwich Town Square North Midland Construction carried out the construction of the first phase of a high quality paved square, to act as a focal point in the centre of West Bromwich and complement The Public, an interactive Arts Centre funded by the Arts Council.
	Church Street, Nuneaton This project consisted of high quality paving, street furniture and lighting works to Church Street, an attractive street in the main shopping area of Nuneaton Town Centre. North Midland Construction undertook this project in consultation with local businesses to ensure that works were planned around their requirements.
	Yeadon High Street The focus of this scheme was to improve and prioritize pedestrian and vehicular use of the High Street and area around the Town Hall Square.  North Midland Construction were tasked with improving parking facilities along the route with clearly defined bays.  The contract also involved widening footways and relaying the footpaths using new flags and setts.
