MAC7 Highway Maintenance Contract
North Midland Construction acted as Lead Supply Chain Partner to AMScott for the provision of highway maintenance and improvement works in Area 7 of the highway network. For each project we undertook a value-engineering assessment of the design to ensure that the works were both innovative and buildable.

A610 Nuthall Roundabout Improvements
North Midland Construction conducted the improvement of a complex traffic signal controlled roundabout junction on the A610, the main northern approach to Nottingham from the M1 Junction 26. Works involved all aspects of highway construction, from earthworks and drainage, to surfacing and traffic signal installation.

Burley Road Integrated Transport Corridor
The contract called for the carriageway widening of 1km of Burley Road to enable the introduction of a new 24-hour bus lane. Works involved Section 278 Works, introducing full signal controlled pedestrian crossing facilities, and the creation of on-street parking bays adjacent to the in-bound traffic lane on Burley Road fronting the residential and commercial properties.
