A49 Winwick Road Junction,  Warrington
North Midland Construction replaced an existing roundabout with a signal controlled junction at a busy location to the north of Warrington. Works included extensive earthworks, service diversions and installation and Traffic Management to maintain traffic flows throughout the scheme.

Doncaster Civic & Cultural Quarter
This scheme involved the construction of a new section of adopted highway and signal controlled junction to re-direct traffic away from Doncaster’s new Civic & Cultural Quarter. Works included extensive sewer and service diversions, the installation of new water and gas services to adjacent building plots, and an upgrade to the existing streetlighting.

High Royds S278 Works Phase 2
This contract involved works to 4 junctions on the A65 Bradford Road, Leeds, to create a new signal controlled gyratory system. North Midland Construction successfully carried out our own Traffic Management on this scheme which was designed to maintain traffic flows as normally as possible.

Burley Road Integrated Transport Corridor
The contract called for the carriageway widening of 1km of Burley Road to enable the introduction of a new 24-hour bus lane. Works involved Section 278 Works, introducing full signal controlled pedestrian crossing facilities, and the creation of on-street parking bays adjacent to the in-bound traffic lane on Burley Road fronting the residential and commercial properties.

Mount Pleasant, Liverpool
North Midland Construction has worked extensively in Liverpool on the City Centre Movement Strategy. The aim of the scheme is to improve provisions for public transport and general traffic, as well as improving the public space for pedestrians and local businesses.
