Fiddlers Ferry and Ferrybridge FGD
The environmental performance of these power stations were enhanced with the introduction of Flue Gas De-sulpherisation (FGD) plants. The civil works included new reception bunkers, railheads for delivery and offloading and precipitation towers for the generation of the salts from the process.

Sparling Street, Liverpool
The contract was for the construction of this new primary sub-station in a restricted site within a residential area of Liverpool. The site was contaminated from previous use, requiring selective removal and remediation techniques. The station has a unique copper clad finish for aesthetic performance with an innovative and sensitive lighting scheme to minimise disruption to local residents. 

Netchells Sub-station
This sub-station was constructed adjacent to the M6 in Birmingham. The new works expanded the capacity of the sub- station by 100% whilst increasing the footprint by 50%. The works included all foundations, plinths, blast walls, ducting and services.

Kearsley Sub-station, Manchester
The design and build of a new Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) facility including two storey building. The building was designed to provide segregation of new GIS for UUE and NGC switchgear, with multiple secure entry. Associated civil works included compounds, fencing, plinths, bases and infrastructure works.
