We have become aware that people and organisations have been contacting job seekers with false employment offers at North Midland Construction as part of a recruitment scam.
The communication has been targeting individuals, and attempts to solicit personal details, bank account information or cash in return for placement fees, immigration processing fees, work permits fees etc. These fraudulent individuals and organisations are claiming to be acting on behalf of North Midland Construction. These scams sometimes use false LinkedIn profiles pretending to be North Midland Construction Managers with fabricated adverts on construction and contractor websites.
Our company, North Midland Construction does not under any condition use recruitment or placement agencies that require candidates to pay an advance fee of any kind.
We would like to formally share some pertinent things to note when responding to a job advertisement.
If you are unsure about correspondence you have received claiming to be from North Midland Construction we advise you to:
- Please urgently report this to your local police or law enforcement agency.
- Do not respond to any unsolicited emails or employment offers from people you are unfamiliar with.
- And most importantly, do not disclose your personal/financial details to anyone offering job opportunities.
