What current projects are you working on and what is your role?

I am working in Highways and Utilities as a site agent.

What attracted you to NM Group?

I wasn’t working in construction before so I saw it as a new challenge when I started eight years ago as an assistant engineer.

What has been your highlight since you started working here?

The variety of work I get involved in. I have worked in the Civils Division and Highways and Utilities.

How has NM Group played a role in your long term career development?

They have helped me through my degree and I’ve also been on lots of training courses since I’ve been here, such as Site Manager Safety training and getting my Street Works card.

What tips would you give to people looking to apply for a job at NM Group?

What current projects are you working on and what is your role?

I’ve just graduated and will be starting work at NM Group in September 2015 as a graduate engineer working on different sites.

What attracted you to NM Group?

I’ve had four summer placements here whilst I’ve been at university and NM Group have sponsored me through university. But I’d say what made me want to come back was the family atmosphere – everyone gets to know you and you’re actually a name, not a number. It’s obvious they care.

What has been your highlight since you started working here?

My highlight would be my last summer placement when I got given a lot more responsibility on site. It was really good to feel a sense of progression within the business.

How has NM Group played a role in your long term career development?

A big one! They have helped me through university and given me so much experience and a graduate job. My next step is my chartership which will take four years. I hope to become a site manager one day.

What is the most important thing you have learnt since working at NM Group?

I would say just to trust yourself. It can be nervous being on site when you’re younger but NM Group has really built my confidence.

What tips would you give to people looking to apply for jobs at NM Group?

Go for it!

What current projects are you working on and what is your role?

I am a project engineer working on the Severn Trent Water Framework at the moment. I project manage, site manage, design and communicate with clients also - basically a bit of everything.

What attracted you to NM Group?

The family feel of the company - everyone knows everyone and you’re a name not a number.

What has been your highlight since you started working here?

Being sponsored through my degree and securing a job after graduating in 2014.

How has NM Group played a role in your long term career development?

They have made me want to be an engineer but mostly important, be an engineer for NM Group. We all have a lot of loyalty here.

What is the most important thing you have learnt since working at NM Group?

I have learnt how handle stuff going wrong and dealing with difficult situations

What current projects are you working on and what is your role?

I am a Graduate Design Engineer from Cardiff University. I am currently working on a projects for South East Water , Environmental Agency for Nomenca Limited

What attracted you to NM Group?

When attending the interview I got a good impression of the vision the company had and the direction they are going.

What has been your highlight since you started working here?

How friendly, welcoming and supportive everyone has been.

How has NM Group played a role in your long term career development?

This is my first professional role.
